over the weekend hubby told me he saw Jamie's 自拍 pixs in his iPhone photos folder & we didn't know to laugh out loud or be melted by our little cheeky girl's 'creativity'. Apparently she took these snapshots of the above herself on the bed in the early morning while both hubby & i are still soundly asleep. (thanked god there is no pixs of us snoozing away :P) and the amazing part to me was how she knows/remembers to click & change the camera position for self portrait & snaps away such funny expression of herself!

well, out of boredom she went exploring and we got reminded again to be more tactful of our actions/words as she observes and automatically learn them!

mistakes.

i should have known better. irrational, i say. but yet, i choose to live with it.

maybe we do not have the luxury of time. perhaps there's nothing else we could do.

sometimes, walking away may not be a cowardly act.

First day of school!

On Tuesday, 3rd Jan marks another milestone for our precious girl as she attends school for K1 this year.

While on our way to the parents' orientation, Jamie don't seems excited for her first day of school yet looking afraid. however after seeing all the familiar faces of her classmates from N2 again, she's back to her hyper mode mixing around with her peers. Hope she copes well with her new teachers & the longer schooling hours (4hrs) at PCF. despite feeling some bit of the protective parent 'kick' comes in getting concern/worry if the 4 hours was too long for her & if her indian teacher can guide her well for K1 etc.

Oh well, perhaps its time to slowly let our precious be out of her comfort zone, to learn more, be independent w/o our presences and prepare herself into the study mode.

BEING A MOM

One random night before going to our lalaland... Jamie says, Mummy this is our sign of Promise *melt*

There comes a point in life when fun no longer means clubbing, drinking, staying out till 4am or thinking about yourself first!

Fun means Disney movies, family dinners, bedtime stories, long cuddles, a messy house, sleeping by 10pm and hearing little voices say

"I love you"

Becoming a parent doesn't change you, it makes you realize that the little people that YOU created deserve the very best of your time!!
